Join us in fighting along side of Will and his family

Here is a little background on Will:

Two weeks after Will celebrated his 7th birthday he started having some "belly aches" & vomiting and was being treated for a virus, and then a CT scan followed.  Long story, short…the name of the culprit for all of this is Burkett’s lymphoma. This is a type of cancer that comes on very quickly and is quite "treatable & curable."

Will now has a port placed under his skin and is currently receiving chemotherapy treatment through this port.  As friends of the Henely’s we want to help defer some costs from all of the medical treatments. Please visit Will’s caring bridge site for more accurate and up to date information. http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/willhenely

We have a 5K Fun Run/Walk this fall (10/12/13) to help raise money to assist the Henely Family!
THE RACE BEGINS AT 9:00 AM, SO PLEASE PLAN TO ARRIVE BETWEEN 8:00-8:30 AM TO GET SIGNED IN AND PICK UP YOUR T-SHIRT. THANK YOU!!!! T-shirt pick up begins at Kids 'R' Kids at 11:00 Friday 10/11/13 and ends that evening at 6:30 PM.  You can still pick up your t-shirt (if you registered before 10/3/13) the morning of the race between 8:00- 8:45 AM.

It's an inexpensive fun way to help the family!

It's open to all ages!!!  Come join the fun!

If you know of anyone who would be interested in the race or even better yet, sponsoring this event, please contact us ASAP at TeamWillFighters@gmail.com.

Comments and suggestions are always welcome! Thank you! And, please feel free to share this site!  You can find us on Facebook at (Team Will Fighters) As we fight alongside of Will and his family – because as we know… NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE.

We are just some friends and neighbors of Matt, Tracy, Will and Jack who want to help & support the Henely Family during this journey.  Knowing that medical bills skyrocket in an instant, we are hoping to help raise money to put towards Will’s treatment, so that the family can focus on Will and his little brother, rather than having to worry about finances!
